Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it." This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways."
God wants us to be busy about doing His work and not focused about our own agenda
To rebuild, we must make a decision: we must make a conscious act to better ourselves and then make a plan and follow God.
Hebrews 12:1
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us"
We should seek the original designer on suggestions to move forward
Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
As the Designer, He knows that you are capable of the tasks He has laid out for you
The flesh is weak, bur be encouraged for God is an enabler. As the designer He knows that you are capable of the tasks He has laid out for you. He will turn your natural ability into supernatural abilities.
Matthew 26:40-41
Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he asked Peter. "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
Count the cost of the task
Know what you need to rebuild and know what you need to give up
Luke 14:28-30
"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule him, saying, 'This fellow began to build and was not able to finish.'
Remember that if the Lord gave you a task, He'll supply you with the people and resources to fulfill it
John 15:5
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing"
